Overview

Highlights: in Notes, Safari, Mail, and similar apps, select text and a small bar pops up beside the selection—tap to translate, ask AI, search, copy, add a to-do, add a calendar event, or save to flomo or Day One. The most likely action ranks first: select an English word and Translate is first; select a sentence with a date and Add to-do is first with the due time filled; select a URL and Open link is first. Rank wrong and tap another—next time it is smarter. Scenarios: reading an English page, select a new word and see the translation immediately; pick a time from email and turn it into a reminder; researching, select a term and search; capture a quick idea to flomo. If a search site you want is not listed, add it with a URL template, or pick from 139 ready-made search extensions. Settings let you reorder actions, hide unused ones, and add apps where you do not want the bar. Pricing and privacy: currently free; needs macOS 26 or newer; supports Apple silicon and Intel. No account—only optional anonymous usage stats that exclude selected text. Selected text leaves this Mac only when you tap a networked action (Ask, Search, save to flomo). Accessibility must be allowed in System Settings to read selected text; Ask needs your own AI service configured in settings.
