smry is a reading agent that combines content subscription, AI reading and personal knowledge base. It is mainly aimed at users who need to continuously track information, read long articles and organize materials. It brings together content scattered across web pages, RSS, videos, and documents into a unified information flow, reducing the time of repeatedly opening websites, copying content, and manually archiving. Users can paste public links, upload PDF, EPUB and office documents, and subscribe to RSS, Newsletter, podcasts and YouTube channels. smry will extract the text, generate a summary, and associate specific original passages when answering questions. Reading content can also be saved to a personal database and continuously organized through tags, highlights, and notes; developers can also use APIs and MCPs to allow other AI Agents to call these data. Core functions Multi-source content aggregation: Supports importing web pages, PDF, EPUB, documents and YouTube videos, and can follow RSS, podcasts, Newsletter and other sources to view updates in the same information flow. AI summary and source tracing Q&A: Automatically extract article or video content. Users can continue to ask questions around the full text and selected paragraphs, and the answers will be associated with the corresponding original text location, making it easy to check the information basis. Personal reading library: Saved content can be automatically tagged and searched by title, text, highlights and notes to help users re-find materials they have read.
