# Pluely

Pluely is a desktop floating AI assistant for users attending meetings, interviews, classes, sales communications, and technical work. It can override other apps, read on-screen content and conversations in real time, and provide answers, summaries, and follow-up suggestions without switching windows. Users can take a screenshot of the screen area to ask questions, or have Pluely capture microphone and system sounds locally and generate real-time transcriptions. It does not join meetings as a robot, supports auto-detecting questions and generating answers, and can connect to managed models, own API keys, or local CLI tools. Core feature hover questions: select the error report, chart, contract or email in the screen and ask the question directly, and the answer will be displayed above the current application. Real-time transcription: Capture microphone and system audio locally to generate conference, classroom, or video transcripts with speaker distinction. Auto Answer: Automatically generates suggested responses after a question in a conversation is detected or paused, suitable for real-time scenarios such as interviews, meetings, and negotiations. Prompts and files: Set exclusive prompts for different tasks and attach documents such as resumes, course notes, product materials, etc., so that the answers are combined with the actual context. Multi-model and local access: multiple cloud models can be selected, and native API Key and Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Ollama, etc. are also supported.
