# PiDeck

PiDeck is an open-source pi and DSH desktop workbench for unified management of pi Agent sessions in local project directories, with import of Codex and Claude local sessions for unified browse and resume. Built on Electron + TypeScript, it offers multi-project workspaces, AI session management, Git integration, built-in terminal, model config, and plugin extensions so local AI coding assistants stay unified, traceable, and configurable across multi-project environments. Who it is for: developers who want to manage AI coding-assistant sessions across multiple local projects on desktop, need unified session history and Git status views, and want a GUI for pi config. PiDeck is not a fork of pi. It is a light Electron shell that launches multiple pi --mode rpc processes, integrating project management, session management, chat UI, config management, and tool orchestration into one native desktop app—all Agent capability comes from native pi; session files are also natively read/written by pi; PiDeck does not clone or hijack. Beyond pi, PiDeck also deeply integrates the DSH (DeepSeek Harness) backend.
