Overview
Beijing Penghu Wuyu Technology Development uses a proprietary integrated terrestrial-satellite protocol and redesigned terrestrial narrowband chips to take 5G into space. Described as the first commercial space company to connect a 5G NTN system, mass-produce low-cost satellite IoT terminals and operate services, providing continuous global monitoring and data collection. Completed a new-generation 5G NTN satellite IoT system, with mass-produced modules, nationally usable spectrum and two-way, low-power, low-latency communication. Claims to be China’s first operational low-cost satellite IoT provider. Follows domestic pilots and global expansion. Pilots in petroleum, emergency response and transport draw on customer demand and policy advantages. Developed three general terminal types for industrial, personal and marine use.
