Overview
What is it: KaiBoard is a local-first open source whiteboard based on Excalidraw. It does not require registration and can be used immediately after opening the network. There is no need to choose equipment or install a client. Let the Agent draw for you: By connecting the external Agent and the general MCP interface, you only need to describe your idea, and the Agent will directly generate sketches, flow charts, and architecture diagrams on the canvas; you can judge, modify, and hand over the idea to the AI to put it on the diagram—no need to start from a blank canvas by hand. The data always stays on your device: the sketchpad data does not go to the cloud, never leaves the local machine, and has zero cloud storage. At the same time, it is open source and can be self-hosted, so privacy is naturally guaranteed. Who it’s suitable for: Independent developers, product managers, researchers—anyone who has a structure in their mind and wants to quickly turn it into a diagram, but doesn’t want to be slowed down by manual dragging and cloud services.
