Overview
CodexShift is a standalone Codex data-migration and index-maintenance tool: when switching official accounts or third-party APIs, it also syncs Provider references on historical tasks so old sessions do not become orphans, duplicates, or vanish from history after a switch. It does not depend on other Provider managers and does not read or modify their data. Features — Built-in "OpenAI official account (native)" entry to restore saved official login credentials or return to the native login flow. Create, edit, delete third-party API configs. Probe API Key and endpoint connectivity and auto-discover models from OpenAI-compatible /models. Switch configs and auth credentials, auto-cleaning conflicting account fields. Auto-detect the current user's CODEX_HOME / ~/.codex, with manual path selection. Historical task index sync (core): scan rollout files, unify model_provider inside them, update state_5.sqlite, and backfill missing root-task indexes so historical sessions stay visible and openable after switches. Selective bidirectional chat migration by project and session between Codex and DeepSeek Harness, auto-creating matching projects and restoring visible user/assistant context.

CodexShift 是一个独立的 Codex 数据迁移与索引维护工具：切换官方账号或第三方 API 时，连同历史任务的 Provider 引用一起同步，避免旧会话在切换后变成孤儿记录、重复记录或从历史列表中消失。它不依赖其他 Provider 管理工具，也不会读取或修改它们的数据。功能内置“OpenAI 官方账号（原生）”入口，可恢复已保存的官方登录凭据，或回到原生登录流程。新建、编辑、删除第三方 API 配置。检测 API Key 与接口连通性，并从 OpenAI 兼容的 /models 接口自动发现模型。切换配置与认证凭据，自动清理冲突的账号字段。自动识别当前用户的 CODEX_HOME / ~/.codex，也支持手动选择路径。历史任务索引同步（核心特性）：扫描 rollout 文件，统一其中的 model_provider，更新 state_5.sqlite，并补齐遗漏的根任务索引，让历史会话在切换后继续可见、可打开。支持在 Codex 与 DeepSeek Harness 之间按项目、按会话选择性双向迁移聊天记录，自动建立对应项目并恢复可见的用户/助手上下文。
