Founding and managing partner of Red Dot China, he founded Red Dot China in and is fully responsible for its China investment business. He has more than 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, management and investment. 2014 and 2018 were named the Best Venture Capitalists in China by Forbes. Redpoint Ventures has led investments in Xicheng Media (acquired by Focus Media), Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU), iDreamSky (NASDAQ: DSKY), Miaozhen Systems, Domob (acquired by BlueFocus), Focus Technology (300203.SZ), APUS, Xuetang Online, Enflame, etc. Before joining Red Dot, he founded and managed three technology companies, namely iTelco Communications, Opentel, and Genesol in Silicon Valley. He worked as a microprocessor design engineer and product manager at Intel. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from MIT and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management (2005).
