# Shen Libin

Dr. Shen Libin, founder and CEO of Leyan Technology, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and has researched natural language processing, machine learning and other frontier AI fields for more than 20 years. Ranked first for multiple years in DARPA machine translation evaluations. Published more than 20 papers at ACL, NAACL, EMNLP and other venues and received the ACL Best Long Paper Award. An NSF final-review panel member and council member of the Chinese Information Processing Society of China. Former senior researcher at IBM and BBN and chief scientist at Persado in New York. Founded Shanghai Leyan Technology in 2016 to use advanced AI to lower costs, improve efficiency and create value across industries. Honors include China’s 30 AI Entrepreneurs in 2020, China’s Hundred Industrial Innovators in 2021, Scientist Entrepreneur Pioneer in 2022 and Ten Outstanding AI Industry Innovation Figures in 2023.
