# Liu Yuan

Hi, I'm Liu Yuan from Wuhan, Hubei.I studied undergraduate at a liberal arts college in the United States, Washington and Lee University, majoring in accounting (it doesn't sound too cool so I'm often ashamed to admit it).
Prior to joining Zhenge, I worked at Greenspring Associates, a venture capital fund in Maryland, both as a VC fund investor and as a direct investor in long-term projects.
This experience has allowed me to understand the entire VC ecosystem from a more macro perspective, but it has also gradually made me realize that I would rather stand closer to the entrepreneur.So in the year of 2014, I returned to China and joined the Zhenge Fund.Since then, I have had the privilege of writing the first check for the Manus, Momenta, Amiro, Typeless, Castbox, ARX Ark Infinite, Unnamed, Menusifu, Cenozoic and other teams.
It's easy for me to get excited when I meet a great entrepreneur, and almost all of the projects mentioned above expressed a strong desire to invest when I first met the founder.In entrepreneurs, the areas I value most are hands-on ability, love, and perseverance.Outside of work, I enjoy movies and am often teased by my colleagues as a literary youth, and my favorite directors are Sorrentino and Herzog.
