Leads space-based computing at the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Computing Technology and is deputy secretary-general of the CCF technical committee on fault-tolerant computing. Deeply involved in design assessments, standards and equipment development for multiple Chinese satellite internet systems. Plans to launch an experimental space supercomputing node in the second half of 2026 and complete in-orbit deployment of a space supercomputing center at the ten-thousand-card scale in 2030.
