Li Yan, founder and CEO. Graduated from the Institute of Computing Technology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Began deep learning research in 2010 and joined Kuaishou in 2015, building its MMU (Multimedia Understanding) department and search business from 0 to 1. One of the earliest experts in Chinese industry to systematically research multimodality, an early core member of Kuaishou AI and head of its media content understanding department (MMU). Founded Yuanshi Technology in 2022, focusing on multimodal large models and generative recommendation.
