Overview
Studied mechanical engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University and, ranked first in the major, was recommended for admission to Tsinghua without an entrance exam. Pursued a doctorate under Academician Zhang Yaqin at Tsinghua’s Institute for AI Industry Research (AIR). Interned at ByteDance Seed, leading embodied intelligence research including UniAct, X-VLA and ODEWorld. The X-VLA team won the world championship in the IROS 2025 Agibot robotic manipulation challenge. Basal Intelligence focuses on on-device self-evolution and in-context learning for robots.
