Tsinghua PhD and researcher. After the doctorate, became a senior scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in the US, researching the intersection of AI and energy. Previously China representative for the International Energy Agency’s IEA Annex 70 and principal or technical lead on projects including the national 863 Program and major research under the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan. Selected for the 2025 Forbes China technology innovation leadership list.
