# He Changhua

He Changhua, founder and CEO of Shudian and director of the Agent Innovation Research Center at the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen.
A nationally specially appointed expert with a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua, master’s from the University of Hong Kong and doctorate from Stanford. A leading data intelligence architect who built and deployed systems from 0 to 1 at major companies in China and overseas. Studied and worked in Silicon Valley for years, holding core technical leadership roles at Google and Airbnb. A senior principal software engineer at Google during 2008 to 2015, leading core search architecture and co-developing the Caffeine search engine, receiving Google’s highest technology award. Returned to China in 2017 and joined Ant Group as chief architect for computing and storage. Received awards including World Internet Leading Scientific and Technological Achievement and the Wu Wenjun AI Science and Technology Progress first prize. Has more than 50 leading papers and patents.
Founded Beijing Shudian Technology in 2022 to turn AI into productivity for enterprise digital and intelligent development.
