Mr. Gan Jianping (JP Gan) is the founding partner of Ce Capital. He has more than years of venture capital experience and has been selected for seven consecutive years on the list of "World's Best Venture Capitalists" selected by Forbes magazine, ranking 2019 in the world. He focuses on investments in smart technology, Internet and consumer fields. Classic investment cases include: Ctrip (NASDAQ: TCOM, HKEX: 9961), Bilibili (NASDAQ: BILI, HKEX: 9626), Dianping (later merged with Meituan to form Meituan Dianping, HKEX: 3690), Musical.ly (later acquired by ByteDance to become Douyin), Meitu (HKEX: 1357), Tuhu Auto (HKEX: 9690) and ATL, etc. Before founding Capital, Mr. Gan served as the managing partner and investment committee member of Qiming Venture Partners for 13. In 2000, he joined the Carlyle Group in the United States to start his VC career. As one of the founding employees and directors of the Asia Venture Capital Department, he pioneered its investment business in mainland China. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa (5).
