On August 3, 2026, per PR Newswire, critical minerals development and production company Mariana Minerals raised $310M in a Series B led by Khosla Ventures with a16z, Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Mitsubishi Corporation. The company was co-founded in 2024 by Caldwell, Baker Tilney and Juan Lozano.
