On August 25, 2026, per TechCrunch, generalist robotics intelligence and embodied foundation model company Generalist AI raised nearly $200M in an extension led by 8VC, bringing its June-announced $400M Series B to about $600M; sources report a ~$3B valuation. The company was co-founded by Pete Florence, Andy Zeng and Andrew Barry.
