On July 23, 2026, per TechCrunch, AI email anti-phishing company AegisAI raised $36M in a Series A led by Battery Ventures with Accel and Foundation Capital. The company was co-founded by Cy Khormaee and Ryan Luo, who previously worked on Google's Safe Browsing and reCAPTCHA security technologies.
