On January 20, according to TechCrunch, OpenAI acquired the life science AI agent company Orchestra Bio for an undisclosed amount; the team and technology were merged into Rosalind and related workbench. Orchestra was previously reported to have raised approximately USD 20 million in total financing (10, 2026).
