# Persona raises USD 10 million; Cal AI co-founder launches new AI agent company

On 2026/10/8, TechCrunch reported that Cal AI’s 19-year-old co-founder Zach Yadegari had launched AI agent company Persona and raised USD 10 million led by Vine Ventures, with Z Fellows founder Cory Levy and Collective Global participating. MyFitnessPal had acquired Cal AI in month 3 earlier that year.
