# TypeSafe AI raises USD 870 million at USD 7.5 billion valuation

On 2026/10/10, TechCrunch reported that TypeSafe AI, developer of non-text AI model Jev, had raised USD 870 million at a USD 7.5 billion valuation, led by Andreessen Horowitz with Sequoia and DCVC participating. Jev outputs probabilistic decisions rather than text and was used by a third of Fortune 500 companies within weeks of release. Diogo Almeida, Sasha Sheng and Erik Gafni co-founded the company in 2024.
