# Cursor launches Automations to trigger coding agents automatically

On 2026/3/5, TechCrunch reported that AI coding tool Cursor had launched Automations, a new system that automatically triggers coding agents from Slack messages, code changes or timers. The product launch did not disclose revenue data.
