On 2026-1-29, according to  PR Newswire , AI meta-system company Poetiq completed the USD 45.8 million seed round, led by FYRFLY Venture Partners and Surface Ventures, with participation from Y Combinator, 468 Capital, Operator Collective, Hico Ventures, and Neuron Venture Partners. The company was founded by former Google DeepMind scientists Shumeet Baluja and Ian Fischer in 2025 in 6, and its recursive self-improvement system outperformed the previous Sota (Gemini 3 Deep Think) with ZZNFZ % accuracy on the ARC-AGI-2 benchmark (75).
