# Cognition signs Windsurf acquisition agreement; target has USD 82 million ARR

On 2025/7/14, Cognition announced a definitive agreement to acquire Windsurf’s product, brand, intellectual property and team. Windsurf then had USD 82 million ARR and more than 350 enterprise customers. The announcement did not state that the deal had closed.
