On 2026/8/5, IT Home reported claims that China’s DeepSeek had restarted its second funding round, seeking CNY 50 billion, approximately USD 7.405 billion, at a pre-money valuation of approximately CNY 500 billion, approximately USD 74.046 billion. Signing was expected in the latter part of month 8.
