# Town is reportedly near a USD 1 billion valuation while planning Series B financing

According to Hoodline 2026-08-30, San Francisco-based Personal Agent startup Town is close to completing a funding round at a valuation of around $ 1B, making it the second personal assistant company to join the unicorn in a week. The product Townie is a proactive digital agent that learns how to work and coordinates tasks across users. Caplight data shows that round B was completed in 2026-09-04.
