# AGIBot secures strategic investment

On 2025/8/4, Robotics & Automation News reported that Chinese humanoid robotics developer Agibot had secured strategic investment from South Korea’s LG Electronics and Mirae Asset. This marked LG’s first entry into embodied intelligence and the first global investment by the Mirae Asset–LG Electronics New Growth Fund.
