# Kong at $100M ARR

On 2023/12/13, Kong reported that the US API management platform disclosed annual recurring revenue of USD 100 million. Spun out of Mashape in 2017, the company reached a milestone reflecting its enterprise market position in API gateways and service meshes. Only approximately 4% of companies in the industry progress from USD 100 million to USD 1 billion in ARR.
