# Anthropic in talks to raise funding at $60 billion valuation

On 2025/1/7, CNBC reported that US AI company Anthropic was in late-stage funding talks, planning to raise up to USD 2 billion at a valuation of USD 60 billion. The developer of the Claude chatbot currently had annual revenue of approximately USD 875 million.
