# Blacksmith raises USD 66 million Series C, valuing USD 1 billion as a unicorn

2026 January 21 According to TechCrunch and Fortune, CI cloud company Blacksmith completed the USD 66 million Series C led by Sequoia, with a valuation of USD 1 billion; Premji Invest and Peak XV, GV, YC participated, with a cumulative financing of about USD 125 million. The company said that since the beginning of the year, the amount of CI tasks and ARRs have increased significantly, and AI code writing speed has become a bottleneck (10).
