# Ellis Raises $10M Seed for AI Operating System for Private Credit

Around July 30, 2026, per TechCrunch, private credit AI operating system startup Ellis closed a $10M seed round from First Round Capital, Khosla Ventures, 645 Ventures, Harlem Capital, Thrive Capital and Slow Capital. The company was founded by Ryan Williams, previously a co-founder of real estate investment platform Cadre.
