# DeepSeek is closing a second external round of roughly 50 billion yuan ($7.4B)

In late 2026/8, genztech reported that Chinese AI large-model company DeepSeek was nearing completion of its second external funding round, totaling approximately CNY 50 billion, or approximately USD 7.4 billion, at a pre-money valuation of approximately USD 74 billion.
