# Airwallex founder looks back: annualized revenue run rate reached USD 600 million by the end of 2024

On 2025/2/12, Airwallex co-founder and CEO Jack Zhang recalled that the company crossed a USD 500 million annualized revenue run rate around 2024/8 and reached USD 600 million approximately three months later. Here ARR means annual run rate revenue, which is not equivalent to strictly defined subscription recurring revenue.
