# Chemify receives GBP 22 million in government grants for Chemifarm expansion

On 2026/9/16, Scottish Enterprise announced GBP 22 million in government support for Chemify, including GBP 16 million from Scottish Enterprise and GBP 6 million from the UK government. Total project investment was GBP 89.9 million, including GBP 67.9 million from the company itself. Government grants must not be described as equity financing.
