# SpaceX obtains an option to acquire Cursor for USD 60 billion

On 2026/4/22, The New York Times reported that SpaceX obtained an option to acquire Cursor for USD 60 billion or pay USD 10 billion for a partnership. Cursor had reached USD 100 million in ARR within two years, with a valuation of USD 29 billion in its previous round.
